Today, I sit down with a very driven and motivated woman. Elizabeth Moses is a machinist for Windsor Mold Inc. and has been hooked on the trades ever since she reluctantly took a woodworking course in high school. As soon as she got a taste for working with her hands, there was no stopping her. She then got involved with First Robotics and eventually decided to a pursue a career in the skilled trades.
She advocates for young women in the trades through the organizations she’s involved with such as Build a Dream and WEST of Windsor Inc. Elizabeth has such a strong passion, not only for what she does on a daily basis, but for closing the skilled trades gap by encouraging those around her to challenge the stigma and find success in this wonderful industry.
