Blue is the New White Podcast

Dec 18, 2020

Today I sit down with someone who has spent his life doing a very unique trade. Joe Cadwell was a commercial diver for over 30 years. Growing up he loved the sense of freedom that came from the underwater world so, in lieu of pursuing a typical college education, Joe enrolled in the US Navy as a diver. After being one of only a handful of recruits who graduated, he continued his career as an instructor and eventually as a commercial diver in Sweden. His travels brought him back to the states where he continued his career and ended up as the Apprentice Coordinator & Instructor for the Pacific Northwest Carpenters Institute where he also serves as the Regional Counsil President of the Northwest Carpenters Union.

Listen in for lessons about Tenacity, Teamwork, Critical Thinking, Perseverance, and Personal Accountability as told by someone who has spent many years developing those skills above and below sea level.

This is already one of my favorite episodes so sit back, turn it up and lean how to use your hands, head, and heart to become a master of your craft.

As always, this show is not monetized & we don’t run ads. We rely strictly on the word of mouth from our listeners to grow the show. So if you enjoy this episode, please take a moment to rate, review, and share. The future generations of tradespeople depend on it. On you! So thank you again and enjoy this episode of Blue is the New White with Joe Cadwell.
